This week a few pictures taken during a lazy Sunday in Ziano Piacentino. Good wine there, and a first experience using an old manual focus Nikkor 85mm f/1.8 which I had modified to AI-S to use it on my D7000.
Ok, so this one was obviously not taken with the 85mm but with my Tokina 12-24 f/2.
Not a great picture but I find the metallic wire details inviting into the vineyard very attractive; need to zoom all the way in so click and go to flickr to see the full-res image.
As a bonus, a wonderful old lady powering through the streets of central Milano. I also took this one with the 85mm; it’s not a sharp picture — there’s a hint of microblur if you look closely, but who cares when there’s a woman dressed in red with a cigarette on her hand and smoke coming out of her.
